Supportive, structured, and engaging — I offer small group sessions designed to build confidence, deepen understanding, and prepare learners for success in their GCSE exams.

With the choice of live group lessons or flexible recorded sessions, families can access high-quality teaching in a way that fits their lifestyle, learning preferences, and weekly schedule.

LIVE LESSONS

Paper 1 topics covered:

Development – How do early experiences and brain development affect behaviour
Memory – How does memory work and why do we forget?
Psychological Problems – What are the causes and effects of mental health issues like depression and addiction?
The Brain and Neuropsychology – How does the brain influence behaviour?
Social Influence – Why do people conform or obey?

Each lesson includes:

Limited spaces to ensure a steady pace while encouraging discussion, interactive activities, and individualised support.
Interactive format — learners can choose to have camera/mic on or off
Preparation tasks to build foundational knowledge
Structured workbook to guide learning
Set exam questions at the end of each topic, marked with personalised feedback.

Cost: £5 per session, payable monthly.

RECORDED SESSION BUNDLES

Paper 2 topics covered:

Research Methods – How do psychologists design and carry out investigations?
Criminal Psychology – Why do people become criminals and how can we reduce crime?
Sleep and Dreaming – What happens when we sleep and why do we dream?

Each topic bundle includes:

Content delivery videos
Activities to consolidate learning and apply theory to exam questions
Exam technique guidance
A structured workbook with end of topic questions, marked and returned with personalised feedback

Each bundle includes a minimum of 7 recorded sessions. Workbooks and lessons are sent together for flexible, self-paced study.

Cost: £30 per topic (7 lessons on average per topic)

PLEASE NOTE

My sessions are designed to support learners in building a strong understanding of the course content while developing effective exam skills. Parents or guardians are responsible for arranging exam entry and covering the associated costs. This includes registering your learner as a private (external) candidate with an approved exam centre. To support you in this process, below are few helpful links with guidance tailored to home-educating families.

You’ll receive an invoice with payment details within 24 hours. For live sessions, payment should be made via bank transfer at least 48 hours before the next month begins. Once payment is received, you’ll get a confirmation email containing a welcome pack with all the necessary links, resources, and a short questionnaire to help me tailor support to the learner’s needs. If the confirmation email hasn't arrived within 24 hours of payment, please do get in touch.
